1. What is KHoKards? And what it means?
a. Well KHoKards or (Team) KHoK is the abbreviation of Kronnax’s House of Kards. And it's a group of fans of the Challenge Games applications/games who joint together to enhance their in-game characters/avatars. We started the group with 4 founding members: Hugo, Melissa, Americo and John. We've started this project in Melissa’s father Publicity, Design & Painting Atelier Store – Atelier Montemar (http://www.montemar.com.pt/). As for Americo & John, they're friends of Atelier's family. Since Hugo and Melissa would often come there to play and work on images and stuff, they actually started to like the games as well and that was our starting point.
2. Why the Hell you say that KHoKards is consisted in 4 members but there are 7 members in the About Us section?
a. At some point Americo, one of our founding members, had to leave our group due to some personal projects and situations. To culminate that void we had to incorporate two new staff members (Leonor & Miguel) and Bruno as a part-time collaborator (and no, he isn’t related with the twins 'though they share the same surname) mostly for the Online Searchable Databases, which we hope to share with you all in a near future.
3. What are those CG Fantasy, CG Sci-Fi & the CG Sports buttons in the main menu of the site?
a. Those buttons are our way to separate the Challenge Games’ games by settings, mostly to give some consistency to our site. Since today CG has a total of 10 games (and probably more on the way...) and we speak about all of them here, we had to separate the by settings:
· CG Fantasy: Duels, Nobility, Duels Defense, Duels Warstorm & Questy Quest.
· CG Sci-Fi: Planetstorm & Mech Duels.
· CG Sports: Baseball Boss, Baseball Boss Playa Rayta & Baseball Boss Home Run Challenge.
4. Why does everytime I search the net for the KHoKards site I came across with a Blogspot page that redirect me to here?
a. That's due to the fact that we started in a Blogspot's Blog. As we grown into a full site, we had to leave Blogspot to become the site that you’re seeing now, but we left that bookmark in order to everyone can easily access our site.
5. What is the Trading Venue?
a. Long short story, that one. You see... when we created KHoKards we thought about making a place to post the in-game stuff (like Duels items, cards, whatever…) that we didn't use anymore, but with all the stuff that we have in hands such as the stories, the site layout, the databases... well... that part was always placed as lower priority and still is at this moment. But that doesn't mean things couldn't change at any time.
6. Do you guys have any connection with Challenge Games? And how do you manage to maintain the KHoKards site?
a. No, we DO NOT have any connection with CG at any point or level (even 'though we'd like to have, but that's another subject). And we maintain this site at our own expenses; hey, we are just a fan-site for some online games, just like so many others. But returning to the last question, we're able to maintain this site (as well as our in-game activities) due to our real life work, as we all have real life works (but that's also one of the biggest causes for our lack of updates from time to time) and all that’s implied. Nether less, every month we put aside some money to “recharge” the only credit card we have in our ranks, the one that’s owned by Hugo. Hey, we’re like family now, so it’s all under control.
7. What is that stuff in the Resources sections that I never heard before, like Duels Frontstorm RPG?
a. For that stuff you can also blame Hugo, as he thinks he's some short of game designer. He wanted to present unique stuff made by us related to the games. So, in accordance with us all, we ended up with some projects: an original RPG "Duels Frontstorm RPG", an original CCG (or TCG if you prefer) named "PROJEKT KKG" and our newest one a miniature board game "Mech Duels Crashdown", 'though all of them are still in an early phase.
8. Oh, I bet that I write better than your main writer. So how can I volunteer some stuff (like a story, a drawing or whatever…) to the site?
a. That’s easy! Just submit your stuff to any of the emails you can find in the About Us section, or just plain and simple send an email to John, 'cause he’s the one that currently manage the submissions. You can mail him here.
